Recommended Valve Timing
The following data was used to obtain optimum performance during engine bench Dyno testing.
Each car will still need to be setup individually to find the optimum settings
for that car.

COMPARISON TEST

A comparison test of 3 theory-based products were tested for the development of this unit.

OBSERVATIONS

An intake air restriction of the maximum amount is present at 6000 RPM.

Therefore camshafts with longer duration (larger angle) do not affect results.

Issues such as piston valve clearance & interference with the camshaft caps need to be addressed with high lift camshafts.


CONCLUSION

Considering the most ideal results for a stock head, a completely bolt-on spec camshaft of IN/EX252`10.4 was developed. These camshafts do not require the head to be altered.
