The ARMS M7760 turbo is capable of delivering 400PS at 1.6K boost. However the main concerns with the stock engine is with the stock Conrods not being designed to cope with that power. So the safety power limit for the stock engine and stock rods are 350-375PS with a boost range of 1.4-1.5k. When changing boost settings please do so in 4th or 5th gear as when done so in lower gears the high loads in higher gears will result in higher boost settings up top. It is not necessary for the actuator to be modified or upgraded since the actuator is designed to protect the Turbo. Increasing the boost settings will control the actuator anyway and it is more than enough. The boost controller controls the pressure in that hose that connect from the intake plenum to the actuator which opens a relief valve for protecting the turbo. So the boost controllerfs job is to allow you to control the actuator for when it should open.

With the standard engine the main concern is the reliability to cope mainly due to the weak point being the Conrods, so the safety margin is to limit it no more than 350-375ps with a max boost range of1.4-1.5k.

To calculate what size is required then you use this formula Target horsepower~5.9€ the number of cylinder = one cylinder. Then consider not exceeding 80-90% of the injectors capacity to find the ideal size for your application.

You select the flow rate capacity of the fuel pump to be adequate enough to supply the required flow without going into the 80-90% safety buffer of the pumps capacity. You can use the following formulae
(Capacity of the fuel pump to suit the injectors) x the number of cylinder x 0.06 = [answer].

With the increase of horse power, the increase in combustion temperatures and this will be a risk of the plugs from melting. The recommended plug heat range of 8-9 is suitable.

The stock blow off valve is not strong enough to cope with the pressure on higher boosted applications so the TOMEI blow off valve will retain the recycling type feature and will adequately control the pressure on high power setups.
The stock blow off valve will at times not function effectively when needed depending on the boost settings so stabilizing the boost settings is not possible.
But without the blow off valve the turbo will fail. To protect the turbo the blow off valve becomes an important component on your investment and the TOMEI strengthened blow off valve is suitable to meet everyonefs budgets and to meet your needs. This is an essential component for those who will upgrade their turbo and run higher boost.

When upgrading the camshafts to optimize the turbos performance it is best to also upgrade the exhaust to maximize the performance potential of the setup. With the EXPREME exhaust manifold design the exhaust backpressure will be improved to give you an easier and sharper turbine spool.

The standard outlet pipe is not suitable for exhaust flow.
The exhaust will clog the exhaust gases with high speed, high boost due to the narrow pipe diameter which causes a bottleneck effect. This will drop the turbines efficiency due to the restrictions on the exhaust flow hindering boost capabilities.
So with the larger diameter pipe, the exhaust flow will be optimized which will maximize the Turbofs and engines performance with a good stable boost control.

When increasing boost and with the increase of combustion pressure the standard head gasket limit is soon realized. By using the correct metal gasket thickness you can adjust and obtain the required compression ratio and increase durability to cope with the increased power output of the engine.

Pressurized air in the turbine is sent to the engine compressed. Compressed air will expand with heat.?
With the drop in air density the performance efficiency will also drop due to poor combustion.
With the intercooler fixed in between the engine and turbine the compressed air will be air cooled to eliminate heat.
Combustion efficiency will be improved with the cooled compressed air being forced into the engine intake resulting in performance gains.
