Base Circle Setting

@ The cam of the other company set the base circle size as ƒΣ36, and the maximum lift as 9.5mm. Although the product which doesn't need an inner shim kit on the market, it may interfere in the cylinder head about many cases, and modifing may be needed. Moreover, there is an unsatisfying point in the performance of 9.5mm. Therefore, we adopt the small base circle but it need the inner shim kit, realize the high lift 10.0mm, demonstrate high performance, and realize no head modifing.
Valve Timing Setting
@ We tested dozens of times on the engine dyno and the chassis dynamo. In responses, torque, and power, set the great valve timing to achieve high performance. To demonstrate high performance in the state of bolt on installation without adjustment of valve timing.

Performance Test


By the test, experimented in various duration, lift, or valve timing.
Although the red line surpasses peak power, the blue line product "IN252‹ type" surpasses with the output of middle range in the right graph. Although it looks like composition of 256-256 in the graph, it is compatible in high performance in all range and the stability of idling by setting as IN252‹. Consequently, decided to IN252-9.2mm and EX256-9.5mm.
And realize to exchange into high lift of shim 10.0mm and achieve the high performance which cannot be compared with STD.
In our company, high performance was caught all over range, and opted for commercial production.

Repeated Test Result
Decided which will be realize the idling stabilized and high efficient in the whole range.
