TOMEI POWERED USA INC., established in 2006 and headquartered in Lake Forest, California, is a high-performance automotive tuning parts manufacturer owned by Axesta Inc., based in Zama, Japan. Axesta oversees all product development and manufacturing for the TOMEI brand, aiming to produce world-class tuning parts that exceed Japanese regulatory constraints.
Founder Akira Sasaki
Akira Sasaki, a former CEO of Tomei Powered Japan, founded Axesta Inc. in 2014 to create innovative and uncompromised performance parts for the global market. Axesta acquired TOMEI POWERED USA INC., marking the start of a new era focusing on both Japanese and international markets.
Global Brands and Operations
Axesta operates two brands:
- TOMEI USA (“The Engine Specialist”) for the Americas and Europe.
- R.S.E. (“Real Speed Engineering”) for Asia and Oceania.
